In FY26, APA launched a series of free supplier webinars to build modern slavery awareness and capability across our supply chain.

Delivered in partnership with specialist advisory firm, the sessions equipped suppliers with practical knowledge to identify and manage modern slavery risks in their operations and supply chains.

Three tailored sessions were delivered to distinct supplier groups including APA active goods suppliers, APA active services suppliers and First Nations and small businesses to ensure content was relevant and accessible regardless of business size or sector.

Targeted engagement was undertaken with industry bodies to promote the program and encourage participation to their member networks.

The initiative reinforces our expectation for suppliers to take meaningful action to address modern slavery risks. By investing in our suppliers, we are strengthening the resilience and ethical integrity of our own supply chain. In FY27, there is a plan to expand these sessions to include targeted suppliers operating in industries with inherent elevated modern slavery risk.
