APA continued to work in partnership with Traditional Owners in FY26 through the execution of ILUAs for the Sturt Plateau Pipeline and the Newman Renewable Energy Hub. These agreements secure Traditional Owner consent and establish clear, long-term frameworks for engagement across the life of each project.

Facilitated by representative bodies including the Northern Land Council and the Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation, the ILUAs set out structured arrangements addressing social, economic and environmental priorities.

APA worked closely with Traditional Owners and representative bodies to understand priorities and concerns, and to develop agreements that reflect these, embed ongoing consultation and deliver meaningful community benefits.

Through these agreements, APA focused on early engagement and transparent processes that support informed decision making and enduring relationships. This approach aligns project delivery with community priorities while meeting stakeholder and investor expectations for strong governance and responsible development.

Building on these foundations, APA will continue to partner with Traditional Owners to progress projects and deliver shared, long-term value.
