APA's submission to the National Electricity Market (NEM) Review Draft Report agreed with the Expert Panel that existing spot and derivative markets do not deliver the long-term signals necessary to support investment. The proposed Electricity Services Entry Mechanism (ESEM) should support the energy of new generation to support renewables during the energy market transition.
