As coal power stations retire and become less reliable, Gas Powered Generation (GPG) will have an increasingly important role in supporting the security and reliability of the energy system. Our submission to the Commonwealth Government's Capacity Investment Scheme consultation recommended that Energy Ministers consider whether existing market arrangements are sufficient to maintain a reliable energy system.
