APA Group (ASX: APA) continues to implement programs designed to ensure the safety and reliability of Directlink, a 63 km high-voltage direct current electricity interconnector linking Queensland and New South Wales.
The recently published Directlink 2024-25 Electricity Network Safety Management System (ENSMS) annual performance report outlines safety performance across its transmission network for the prior 12 months. Through its ENSMS Directlink is committed to the safety of members of the public and those working on the network.
APA Group Executive Operations Petrea Bradford said the safety of our people and the community is our top priority.
“Directlink plays an important role in facilitating the transfer of energy between Queensland and New South Wales and continues to build safety awareness through a range of engagement and public awareness programs and campaigns,” Ms Bradford said.
“These programs align with our focus on ensuring we operate assets that are safe and reliable for our customers, landholders and the broader community.”
