The Dugald River Solar Farm is not just about renewable energy, it's enabling a sustainable future for the region. By integrating solar power with our existing gas-fired Diamantina Power Station, we're providing a stable, reliable and clean energy supply.

The Mount Isa and Cloncurry Community Grants Program runs twice per year, with local community groups and other organisations receiving funding from APA to support community-led initiatives. Since 2023 we have provided almost $100k of funding to these projects.

APA is a proud community partner of the famous Mount Isa Indigenous Rodeo Championships, which showcases the amazing talents of Indigenous rodeo competitors and gives visibility to the stories of Australia’s Indigenous stockmen and stockwomen. It’s part of the legendary Mount Isa Mines Rodeo, the largest rodeo in the southern hemisphere.

APA has invested over $1 billion in energy infrastructure in Queensland’s North West Minerals Province, and the Dugald River Solar Farm is an example of our commitment to this region. We're proud to be part of the Mount Isa community, and we look forward to continuing our work in delivering safe, affordable, and sustainable energy for years to come.
