These Technical Practices outline APA’s requirements for the design and construction and/or modification of APA’s assets (“Work”) by an Intended Recipient only. These Technical Practices do not purport to contain all statutory or regulatory requirements (including relevant Australian Standards) applicable to the Intended Recipient for the Work.

For persons that use these Technical Practices that are not an Intended Recipient (“Unauthorised User”):

  1. APA makes no warranty or representation regarding the quality, currency, accuracy, reliability, compliance with statutory or regulatory requirements (including compliance with relevant Australian Standards), performance, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any part of the information in the Technical Practice,
  2. it is the responsibility of the Unauthorised User to assess and verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the information in the Technical Practice, and,
  3. to the maximum extent permitted by law, APA will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature (including for any indirect or consequential loss) suffered by an Unauthorised User as a result of or in connection with the use or misuse, application or implementation of the Technical Practice.

Intended Recipient: Any APA representative or external authorised third parties that have been specifically directed by APA to use the Technical Practice for a specific application in accordance with terms and conditions (including but not limited to tender documents, contracts, standing arrangements and purchase orders).
