Customer Expression of Interest
APA is calling for an Expression of Interest (EOI) from all potential future network customers for the Burrup and Hamersley Range Corridor Projects.
To ensure these open access transmission lines are optimally designed and located, APA is inviting all potential customers, including electricity users, generators and other network operators, to provide us with high level information regarding potential connection to these transmission lines. The information being sought includes the location and timing of any likely connection as well as the technology type and magnitude (in MW). We will use this information to refine and optimise the route and design of these new assets to deliver optimal benefit to stakeholders.
The Burrup and Hamersley Corridors were identified by the State as a critical element for efficient decarbonisation of Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Input from potential future customers will be integral to the successful development and delivery of these transformative transmission projects and will make the common user assets best placed to be accessible to the widest range of customers.
The Burrup and Hammersley Range projects will become covered networks regulated by the Pilbara Network Access Code (PNAC) and the Pilbara Network Rules (PNR). In line with the anticipated requirements of the PNAC and PNR, APA will treat all information received in response to this EOI as confidential. This information will be ringfenced and access will be restricted to the relevant transmission network business.
To participate, please download and complete the Expression of Interest form below. Your input is vital in helping us refine the route and design to best support the region's future energy needs.
We are hosting online information sessions to provide an overview of the project and guide you through the EOI process. These sessions are a great opportunity to hear directly from the project team and ask any questions you may have.
