Gas Distribution
APA has an interest in and operates two gas distribution networks - Envestra and Allgas.
APA is responsible for the economic regulation of the Allgas Gas Network.

Description | Allgas Gas Network is located in south east Queensland and serves end users in southern Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Oakey. The network is approximately 2,800 kilometres long and serves approximately 90,000 end users. APA maintains a 20% interest in the Allgas Networks through a joint venture arrangement with Marrubeni Corporation (40%) and RREEF (40%) under the entity GDI (EII) Pty Ltd. The network extends from Brisbane, south of the river, to the northern tip of New South Wales, with separate networks in Toowoomba and Oakey. In addition, a small pipeline (1km) services an ammonium nitrate plant at Moura, Central Queensland.The Roma Brisbane Pipeline physically connects with the Allgas Gas Networks at Oakey, Toowoomba and Brisbane. It is operated in conjunction with Envestra's gas distribution network, which is generally on the north side of Brisbane. |
